第一届国际军团菌流行病和分析检测会议
The aim of the conference is to increase knowledge concerning more efficient Legionella risk management in environmental and industrial waters. Case studies will be presented explaining the use real-time PCR as a new tool for fast Legionella detection and quantification. With this conference, Bio-Rad would like to start an international discussion on the improvement of the guideLINEs and controls in water, in order to prevent the increasing number of legionellosis outbreaks in the future. |
More than 200 people are expected to attend the conference, including opinion leaders, industries, governmental organizations and control laboratories from around the world. |
The draft program is as following: |
Microbiological surveillance of Water Systems: benefits and limits |
Legionella epidemiology and outbreaks |
Detection methods for Legionella water analysis |
Advantages of a standardized procedure for real-time PCR detection and quantification of Legionella (AFNOR T90 471 standard) |
